Women in Golf: Farhana A. Safian

Our Women in Golf Series kicks off with a chat with Malaysian Farhana A. Safian, who has carved a well-deserved niche for herself in the male-dominated world of greenskeeping.
Currently the golf course superintendent at Saujana Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Farhana holds a degree in Landscape Architecture and is a Class A member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. She has been in the business for more than 15 years, joining Saujana last November following stints at Sarawak Golf Club and Rahman Putra Golf Club.
Farhana was highly praised for the premium playing conditions of Saujana's Palm Course during the ADT Players Championship presented by The R&A in May.
